Bluewave Energy History

Bluewave Energy was first launched in 2005 in the Maritimes. The national petroleum distribution company prided itself in customer service and soon expanded across the country, emerging as Shell Canada’s largest branded distributor in the country.

In December 2009, Bluewave Energy was purchased by Parkland Corporation, Canada's largest national independent operator of retail and commercial/industrial fuels. Parkland connects refiners to communities, and communities to the petroleum products they need to heat their homes, fuel their industries and drive their economies forward.

As a division of Parkland, Bluewave Energy has greater access to supply and distribution, expanded delivery fleets, and a larger number of service-driven, customer-focused employees available to support customers from coast to coast.
